Antibiotics: Antibiotics are for bacterial infections, not viral infections. Does your sister have other issues? Discuss your concers with her prescribing physician.

Covid headaches : Hi. I do suggest she follow up with her doctor about the headache. Headache is quite common in covid due to the dehydration from the severe sweating and some times GI symptoms. Hopefully she is hydrating. There are other reasons she could have the headache as well so a good idea to let the treating doc know. Some antibiotics can also do it. Hope it helps feel better !

Antibiotics: Since antibiotics treat bacterial infections and not viruses, the doctor may opt to stop the antibiotics if COVID 19 explains your sister's symptoms. However, antibiotics may be used if a medical provider believes there could be a concurrent bacterial infection
