Had intense toothache since friday evening.had a root canal today and there was lots of inflammation.started feeling shivery when got home.got antibiotics and pain med.temp before taking the meds was 38.1 and 30mins after it was same.also lightheaded?

Infection: The infection had spread beyond the tooth. Were the antibiotics prescribed by your Dentist or did you pick them yourself? Important that you take the right meds for the entire course of treatment, usually 5 full days. Antibiotics may take up to 48 hours to take hold. If you're uncomfortable call the Dentist or specialist Endodontist tat treated you.
