I have a middle ear infection and have been taking antibiotics for 6 days and my ear is still in a bit of pain. i am also feeling nauseous and light headed. is there anything else that i can do, or should i just wait to finish the antibiotics.

An oral: plus local decongestant may be helpful ( ie decongestant medication plus nasal spray) The antibiotics may be contributing to your nausea and the balance mechanism is middle ear based!! Ask your pharmacist for suggestions since these medications are OTC Hope this is helpful Dr Z
