Need exam + Xray: Time to see your doctor and Xrays will probably be ordered. If the amoxicillin had been effective, your cough would have been expected to improve, not worsen. People can faint from prolonged, hard coughing. If you feel sudden light-headedness, it may help to lie down. Please avoid driving until the light-headedness has resolved. You might Google "cough syncope" for more information.
