My doctor recently diagnosed me with mono and im not sure thats whats causing my symptoms. is there any additional tests i could have her do to see if the ebv virus is active inside me and what is causing my symptoms or if im just carrying it?

Mononucleosis: "EBV nuclear antigen (EBNA) Antibody to EBNA, determined by the standard immunofluorescent test, is not seen in the acute phase of EBV infection but slowly appears two to four months after onset of symptoms and persists for the rest of a person’s life."
