Need current: You would need to have current testing to see whether you are currently a carrier.

Most people have it: Most people carry EBV virus inside their bodies. We live with the virus after getting it, and most people get it, so it is considered a universal virus. After getting EBV, its genetic code lives inside of us and can replicate new viruses from time to time... which means the viruses can "reactivate" and come out in larger numbers at that time. During reactivations, a person may feel ill symptoms.
