I've never had mono, but my doc did a test to check for the antibodies and my ebna was 5.00 which was very high. does this mean i have chronic ebv?

Not at all: It means for were infected with ebv at some time in the past, like most of us.

Early antigen !: The antibody to early antigen igg must be positive for the presumptive diagnosis of chron mono. It is frequently not done on most panels for ebv!
