100 grams or more!!!: Vitamin C has no known toxic level; it acts as a laxative if you take too much. The sicker you are the more you need; many experts advise taking 2-3000 mg every hour til you get loose stools. High doses of Cal-C-Vita will give lots of D too but safe to take up to 30,000 units of D/day for a week. I advise stopping Efferflu- lowering fever reduces immune function! Contact doctor ASAP: In general, always stick to the instructions on the packaging when taking vitamins, then you will be safe. Regarding "flu-like" symptoms, contact your doctor ASAP. We have to be vigilant at all times, and it may be necessary for you to self-isolate if your symptoms could be similar to those of COVID-19. Your doctor will be able to guide you after discussing in more detail. Please isolate for now

See your ENT: You have some sort of chronic problem, but it is hard to know what is going on over the computer. Most likely you are dealing with allergies, chronic sinusitis, or perhaps laryngeal reflux. A thorough history, physical exam and maybe some x-rays or other tests will help sort out the problem. Sinus rinses are a helpful solution for sinus congestion and allergy complaints as well. Good luck!

Wait, rest, hydrate: Right now many viral upper respiratory infections are 'going around'! nyquil & dayquil both just treat the symptoms. Your body has to develop antibodies to this new viral intruder to your body. The only cure is to wait and help your body heal. Anti-biotics will not treat a viral respiratory infection. A statistic: over 50% of anti-biotics written in usa are unnecessary. Hope u r better soon!

Sore throat: First of all, consult your primary care doctor to rule out a strep throat because you will need an antibiotic for it. If it turns out that you just have a viral infection, you may be able to take Acetaminophen preferably and gargle with warm salt water every 4 hours. Practise frequent handwashing to protect your baby from getting your infection.

See doctor: Captopril is an anti hypertensive drug. Your mother sounds pretty sick. Please contact her doctor asap. This scenario sounds like she has a systemic infection.
