A member asked:

I've been given two due dates one went off of my ultrasound which read my due date would be september 25 and my last period reads september 22. i had ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The same really...: Since the u/s is only a few days different than your due-date from your last menstrual period (LMP), most providers will keep the original LMP date. Ultrasound isn't perfect. There is a known error range. The size of the error range depends on the gestational the U/S was performed. Earlier ultrasounds tend to be more accurate than later ultrasounds. Best wishes!
