I think i may have a stress fracture on the top of my left foot i have been on gerd ppi meds for years i have it wrapped to keep swelling down is it necessary to see a doctor? i have tenderness upon touch & swelling, just noticed it today

Yes: Seeing a doctor and having tests as felt needed will be critical in order to assure a full recovery. Significant long term functional limitations may happen if not diagnosed and treated properly.
