Constipation: Firm stool in the rectum can cause pressure on the bladder and as the stool is forced out, the increased abdominal pressure can cause release of urine. Constipation can also cause increased pressure in the blood vessels surrounding most pelvic structures, causing hemorrhoids or swollen labia. Try increasing fiber and liquids for softer stools that don't have to be pushed out.
