R.I.C.E: Massage therapy along the plantar fascia works well in conjunction with ice and rest. Nsaids can help significantly with swelling and acute pain.

Get rid of it.: Plantar fasciitis is poorly understood and treated. But you can use the Doctor's Pain Reflex to control the pain.

Some thoughts: Do you have custom designed orthotics? (hopefully not generics?). Have you tried taping by a podiatrist? Have you been evaluated for tarsal tunnel syndrome, or other nerve problems? Have you seen an orthopedic foot/ ankle specialist? Just a few areas to try.
