Yes: Babies are much more susceptible to infection than persons who have had time to build up immune response. In this current pandemic, isolation/limited contact is a very reasonable response. I would add that if she is breastfeeding, she is helping her infant by giving it immune compounds and cells from her own body. Additional sanitization of household and anything touching the baby is good too.
