A member asked:

How common is it for people with covid-19 to have no symptoms at all? do i have a higher chance of contracting covid from an asymptomatic person or a symptomatic person?

Common: We are discovering through testing that many people have had the virus with no symptoms and it is felt that these people can transmit the virus. One would think that a symptomatic person would more readily transmit the infection through shedding more virus particles through breathing, sneezing, coughing while they have active symptoms.

Probably symptomatic: People are most likely to transmit the virus when their viral load is high.
