A member asked:

If you are vaccinated and boosted, but were in close contact with someone who had asymptomatic covid and tested positive on a pcr the day after you saw them, can they still give it to you, even if they didnt have symptoms? what should you do?

If you and/or the infected person failed to wear a mask, and if you were in close contact, it is quite possible that you've received the virus, especially if it's the Omicron variant. A tight-fitting mask can make it much less likely that transmission has occurred.

You should wear a mask. A person is contagious 2-3 days before symptoms appear. If the person is infected with the Omicron strain, it is likely that you were exposed. However, being vaccinated and boosted is good protection against any serious illness. Wish you good health!
