Hi my 4 months son had the rotavirus vaccine. he apparently hadn't any symptoms. but since he'd that vaccine, he is having diarrhea every day, especially when i breastfeed him. its not so much, but it has been 2 weeks. what should i do?

Normal: The rotavirus vaccine is made up of live but weakened virus that will cause a very mild infection in the patient leading to immunity. Diarrhea is a common side effect that can last up to 8 days. If your child is feeding and stools are slowly returning to normal, then no dr visit is necessary. if your child starts vomiting, is in pain, or has "red currant jelly stool" see a dr immediately.
