Diarrhea: is best treated with a clear liquid diet. There is no specific medication for treatment of Rotavirus. Clear liquids only until diarrhea resolves and then add a BRAT diet: B = bananas R = rice A = applesauce T = toast (dry - no butter) or saltine crackers Jello and chicken soup are clear liquids that provide some protein. If signs of dehydration occur, seek medical attention.
