I have inside my mouth a small bump on both sides of my cheeks on the same spot. the small bump sits on the same spot on either side of my cheeks. its not painful. im just curious to what this is. it sits right where my top and bottom teeth meet. ?

Parotid gland duct: That is the opening in the duct from the parotid salivary gland. You also have one under the tongue called the sublingual salivary. Here’s something fun to do: look in the mirror with a light shined on one of those bumps and think about eating a tart lemon. You will see the saliva flow out. Same with the sublingual gland under your tongue.

Small bumps: If they are opposite your upper first (6 year) molars, hey are probably the openings where the ducts from your Parotid Salivary Glands drain into your oral cavity. Please show them to your Dentist at your next regular examination to be sure. And if it's been more than 6 months since your last exam and cleaning, schedule now.
