A member asked:

Had a small flat light brown area on groin biopsied. came back as sebehorric keratosis. is it likely pathologist made a mistake and it's actually bowen's papulosis? or does that look very different under a microscope?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: Pathology is usually quite specific but it is always worth considering submitting the specimen to another pathologist (even a dermatopathologist) for a second opinion if you are concerned.
