What are doctors thoughts on saunas? are they a health hazard? or are they beneficial for your health?

Benefits and risks: Saunas are relaxing and may help patients with high blood pressure and rheumatic disease, while patients with severe heart disease and/or chronic skin disease may not be good candidates for using saunas. Hydration is critical and should not be confounded with alcohol use that is not recommended around use of sauna.
