Halitosis/sinusitis: Bad breath, also known as halitosis, can be frustrating and annoying. There are a few causes, inflammation of your gums, known as gingivitis, can cause it, as well as tonsillitis which is inflammation of your tonsils. If it is chronic, you may need a tonsillectomy which requires surgery. Sinusitis can cause this also, at times. You can try flossing your teeth for a few days/nasal corticosteroid.

Bad breath: Most common causes of bad breath are associated w oral cavity. So 1st step, see your Dentist. If your mouth is healthy you may then be referred to an ENT and/or a gastroenterologist. But first see a Dentist and have him/her review your oral hygiene with you and examine you for any oral pathology.
