URI: Sounds like an Upper Respiratory Tract infection, can still be viral, and the cough can be from the irritated upper or lower airways. Saline nasal washes, salt water gargles, OTC cough remedies, but read the labels carefully, rest, fluids and pain killers, if no improvement, see your doctor
