Nerve impingement : You may have a nerve impingement in your upper spine or shoulder on the left side. It is very common.

R/O TIA: There are a number of things that can cause this. Medication side effects and more concerning would be arrhythmia or TIA. You should be evaluated by a neurologist and possibly cardiologist after your primary doctor. If you are able to respond then please provide more details on the context of this, meaning what are you doing when it happens, what do you take for medications, do you use any drugs.
