Your doc: Your doc’s office may be able to coordinate. Most offices work now by phone or virtual visits.

Antibiotic: The Dentist should be able to prescribe an antibiotic for you until you can be physically evaluated and treated. Antibiotic will reduce spread of bacteria to your other organs only for as long as you take it. Pain can be modified with OTC Meds ,and your Dentist can instruct you as to appropriate dosage/timing. But nothing will stop all of your pain until the tooth receives is treated.

Not all teeth...: ...Just the ones you don't want to rot and crumble. Even milk teeth can decay to the point of causing infections in the jaw and damage to permanent tooth buds.
Dr. Pamela Asseff

Baby teeth provide room for permanent teeth. If a baby tooth is badly decayed, the permanent tooth can come in with decay. This is known as Turner's tooth.

What causes an abscess? I have one in my arm and it's leaking puss non stop and i've been squeezing it to help get it out but it's a lot and hurts.

Drainage- stop squee: Abscess caused by an infection of bacteria. Squeezing usually makes it worse and spreads the infection into otherwise healthy areas. Drainage is the only treatment. Heat may help and keep it covered and clean. I will have patients wash it with hydrogen peroxide. If it is bad then see your doctor to have it opened and drained.

Can see sometimes: Your gums may get red, swollen and sore. You may be able to see a new tooth. The only way to know for sure is to see a dentist.
