This novel coronavirus, is it going to be like any other virus? now that it's here, will it always be here? can people get the virus multiple times, and will there be a season for the virus?

Good questions: There is still a need of lot more research on this topic that can help to answer your questions with certainty. For now, yes, some infectious disease specialists have explained that herd immunity can become a protective factor in future. When a lot of people get infected/have antibodies then chances of transmission decreases. It is not known how long will be duration of immunity after infection.
