Why do people say coronavirus should subside based on a change of seasons when the weather warms? i thought you needed extreme heat to kill viruses, not just warmer weather.

Less staying: inside, in closer proximity to one another. Cold weather, more staying inside, spreading viruses more easily. Spring and summer slow the spread of colds, flu, and corona. Fresh air is good!

Extreme heats: are not required. The higher the heat the less exposure time required to kill the virus. We don't actually know if COVID 19 will wane when weather gets warmer.
