I have an anxiety disorder. ive tried zoloft, prozac, venlafaxine, cipralex, quetiapine. now i use paxil. all these medications make me sleepy during the day and cause troubles with concentration and memory. are there any other options?

A few good choices: Lexapro tends to have fewer side effect than other ssri meds, buspar which also works by increasing serotonin, and is often pretty easy to tolerate . Wellbutrin might be worth trying and is often easy to tolerate. Optimize your diet , lots of leafy greens, avoid inflammatory foods -dairy, grains and sugar

Anxiety: There are other options. First have a complete physical exam by a Dr. to rule out underlying biological problem. If no problem then consult with a Clinical Psychologist for psychotherapy help and a Psychiatrist for medication consult.
