Has he been exposed to anyone with COVID-19? I would check with your local health care folks in ZA. They know what is going around over there.

Yes, it is recommended that he have COVID 19 screening. He should also have Flu and COVID 19 vaccination. Nasal saline,test and fluids are recommended Monitor breathing and temperature. A yogurt serving per day and reducing intake of other dairy products, bananas and rice may help to control GI symptoms. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, dehydration, and prolonged cough.
