My 11 year old son, few symptoms of concern. he has sensitive skin,weakness of the body, congested nose, sore throat,a slight tight chest and is on day 4 of symptoms. he is an asthmatic. does he need a covid test? and where do i go?

Absolute needs test: Your child has underlying respiratory issues having asthma, so absolutely needs Covid19 testing and evaluation of his symptoms. Maybe he just has a cold with exacerbation of asthma symptoms, but maybe not. Only testing will give you answer. I don't know where you live, so don't know where to test except to have you call local Health Department for local test sites.
