Good evening, i have bad shoulder which needs to operated on soon. there's alot of pain and discomfort. the orthopedic surgeon has prescribed me tamgesic 0.2mg. i'm also asthmatic. is it safe to take these tablets being asthmatic?

Should be fine: There are cautions when used in asthma patients with poor control as this drug can depress the breathing center/slow breathing. However, if your asthma is in control it is a useful drug that is considered safe.
