Scalp is itchy and pain on crown of scalp, was diagnosed today with folliculitis and was given ketoconazole, clobetasol solution and doxycycline. will this help the itching and pain/bumbs.. i have had this for to long.

It should.: The reason i am telling that is simple. You have mainly doxy for folliculitis, keto for itch , clo is for the bumps. You are on the right track assuming that the diagnosis is the correct one.

May help : Folliculitis is typically caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. Ketoconazole and doxycycline are both used to treat such infections. Clobetasol works to decrease inflammation (which is associated with itching, pain, swelling). Taking all three medications are meant to help with the itching, pain, and bumps due to folliculitis.
