COVID-19 "spreader": A fomite is any unanimated object that have been contaminated by the virus and can carry and spread it when touched by other people. This could be any surface, like glass, metal, wood or cloth that have been in contact with fluids, like very small saliva drops from other people. That is the reason why all the people must avoid touching their face, mouth, eyes and nose without wash their hands.

Fomite: A fomite is an object/ material that can carry an infection. Because there can be live virus on many types of surfaces - it can be transmitted by touching them. Thus, the concept of "fomite" is very important. However, most transmission is via droplets.
