I would not even try to venture a guess at diagnosing the cause of your twitching without doing a medical assessment. Have you considered a telemedicine evaluation?

The differential diagnosis here includes stress and benign fasciculation disorder as well as deficiencies of calcium,magnesium,potassium, vitamin D &requires blood tests for these. You could ask your pharmacist to recommend a magnesium supplement to try. If not improved, consult a neurologist for evaluation,diagnosis and treatment. Appropriate testing will be done.In the meantime avoid caffeine
