Doctor can evaluate: Insomnia has many causes, so an evaluation by a primary care doctor is needed. Getting rid of a problem causing insomnia will usually work, but sometimes no cause is found. Doctors may give medications to help fall asleep and stay asleep. Depression, anxiety, hormonal imbalances, pain, medicines, ambient noise, tinnitus, jet lag, etc... all can cause insomnia. Sleep Medicine doctors can also help.

Needregular schedule: start with same wake time everyday,9hrs prior develop and do the same nightly about a 30min process to give your body clear message it is time to relax and fall asleep, avoid bright lights and screens 1hr prior to bed- supresses melatonin(chemical that helps you fall asleep in the dark) 4-500mg magnesium gluconate or citrate, if not helpful enough add melatonin 1-20mg. if not good then see doctor
