Tooth Extraction: The wound is still fresh, less than 48 hrs old. Strenuous activity can cause the clot to dislodge, resulting in a dry socket. The road signs indicate "Proceed at your own risk"

Post-extraction: Take antibiotic until all of the pills are gone. If you have swelling, pain, bad taste, bad breath at that point another course of antibiotics may be required. Make sure you reveal ALL of your meds to the prescribing dentist to assure no contraindications. As to strenuous activities, including oral sex, you probably are best off waiting for a full week to 10 days of healing.
