Why would my liver enzymes alt be 75 and ast be 31? with no jaundice they have been rising for months now i do have fatty liver i feel okay tired a lot but fine. is that too high? and can i take my hydrocodone i just had surgery?

High enzymes: Fatty liver can cause those elevations,but have you been checked for hepatitis A,B, or C, or infectious mononucleosis? Have you been evaluated by a gastroenterologist or hepatologist? Hydrocodone is usually not recommended in patients under age 18. Also be cautious about acetaminophen use in the presence of liver inflammation. Discuss all these issues with your parents.
