Diet: The Mediterranean diet would be preferred or the Ornish diet. Both would emphasize vegetables. There is a decade long study by Oxford university that is pretty clear that staying away from meat and dairy is important to reverse cardiac disease. The keto diet is akin to the Atkins diet and although helpful for weight loss not inherently best for reversing cardiac disease. Paleo unknown.
