It's movie time: If problem is sudden and new, the doctor or ER can help today. Otherwise, parents can make a movie of his snoring to show what's happening. Show the face, chest, and tummy at the same time, so Dr. can see how things moves during breathing. A minute into the movie, open his mouth to show how the breathing changes; and then a minute later, close the mouth to show how the breathing changes again.

Airway: Son may have an airway insufficiency, periodontal disease, cavities, enlarged tonsils/adenoids, etc. Imperative that he see a specialist Pediatric Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist, immediately. Pedodontist may also want to consult with a specialist Pulmonolgist because of your son's signs of sleep apnea. And start flossing your son's teeth daily, t'paste/t'brush alone only gets teeth 65% clean.
