RMI?: I usually avoid questions like this figuring some specialist will understand the acronym but you've been waiting awhile. After extensive search the only things I found are Re-vascularization after Myocardial infarction or Recent Myocardial Infarction neither of which would likely apply to a 19-year-old. In the former RMI IS the surgery and for Recent MI, cardiac catheterization is most common.
