My left upper back side is hurting whenever i get up or lay down or i cant even lay on my left side. it doesnt hurt when my wife touches it. only when i move around. it feels like the pain is coming from the inside. i dont play sports or anything.

Left side pain: May be kidney stone, may be GERD, may be colon lesion or may be sciatica/ disc disease thoracic or lumbar( even if you were not a big sports person as just sitting all day is detrimental to the back) or even discitis- infection/inflammation of disc. Would go to urgent care/ER get imaging possibly CT scan to evaluate. F/u/ with ER/urgent care.
