Many options: This could be an irritation of one of the tendons in your elbow causing your discomfort. However there are many other options depending on where exactly the pain is located. For example if you have pain/numbness/tingling into your pinky and ring fingers it could be compression of your ulnar nerve. The only way to know for sure would be to see your physician and let him/her evaluate you.

See sports med doc: Depending on where exactly the pain is, there are a few things that can cause these symptoms. It may be 'tennis elbow' (tendonitis). You would likely benefit from physical therapy- not only to decrease the pain, but also to address the mechanical factors that caused it in the first place.
