I am 35 weeks pregnant. for the last 2 weeks i have been having extremely itchy skin all over, particularly my arms, upper legs and tummy. shoukd i be concerned,is this something deeper than just a skin itch?

It can be just: an itch. Blood tests should be checked for cholestasis of pregnancy, a slight blockage of the liver drainage system, could be the cause, and it more serious. Let your doctor know about the itching.
