Possibly: From your description of less pain sensation in certain areas, a peripheral neuropathy may be one cause. There are multiple causes, avoid alcohol, take vitamin B either as an injection or by mouth. An imaging study may be indicated. If you have had any accidents, please also discuss with your physician.
