Cheek pulse: If you're sensing a pulse from an artery in your cheek, which I believe is unlikely, it would be synchronous with the arterial pulse in your wrist or neck. If it's not a pulse you're sensing, the sensation could be from dilated capillaries in the skin. This would produce a blushing type of reaction.
