Ask the Prescriber: If a person has symptoms she thinks may be side effects of her medication, she needs to ask the prescribing doctor. That said, Prozac is used for treating depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, etc... That means anxiety should not be due to Prozac, but instead, a person's anxiety is probably partly being treated by her Prozac. Her doctor can evaluate.
