I have been taking lexapro 5 mg for anxiety for about 5 weeks now. i take it around 9am. i always wake up btw 3-4 am and starts to have burning sensation in hands and arms. it seems like it is consistent and not going away. is this common?

Paraesthesias?: The burning sensation in hands and arms is a side effect of Lexapro,occuring in 2% of people taking it. If intolerable you can get changed to another agent of same group. Early waking up will become better with continued treatment of depression and anxiety with the antidepressant of choice.
