Is bystolic or coreg better at lowering htn? both seem very similar being 3rd gen bbs. which one has the least reported side effects? how do they act differently?

HTN: Unless you tend to have a somewhat rapid resting heart rate or known coronary artery disease,, I don't think either one is a first line choice. ACE inhibitors(like lisinopril), , ARB's(like avapro) or calcium channel blockers (like amlodipine) often combined with a low dose diuretic are better choices, in my opinion.

Hi, I'm taking 3 different htn meds Carvedilol 25 mg 1 po BID, Cardizem CD 240 mg ER q d & Lorsartan Hctz 100-25 mg q d. My BP is usually 120's/80-90's but this past month it's been in 90's/60's @ hs. Should I be on all 3 meds?
Afib/HTN.Flecainide 50x2, Losartan 50x2,Coreg 12.5x1.BP usually around 110/65 w/meds. Sometimes little higher or lower.Last night 104/51, this morning 115/61. Is this ok if my BP goes a little low at times with medication or do I need an adjustment?
