Sharp pain like an electric shock shooting across the right side of my arm going across my chest. i have had an mri and have been told i have trapped nerve that is causing weakness in my right leg, could this be causing the pain in my arm/ chest?

Electric shock pain : More details are needed. You probably have two different problems that cause irritation/inflammation to nerves. Some likely both in the spine, but there are several other possibles which can be determined with more information
