Peripheral nerves: Your symptoms seem to be more related to a peripheral neuropathy vs myopathy. Not likely stemming from the central nervous system

After having low back surgery, is it normal to have unresolved nerve pain in feet and legs?

Yes: I assume you are talking of disc surgery, which the nerve involved.
We have to consider two things.
How chronic the painwas?
How much the nerve injury is?
It may take days?
It may have residual pain for long time?

A 50-year-old member asked:
I have a herniated disc at t3-t4 from an accident burning pain in chest and muscle pain is this bad?

Maybe: The burning pain in your chest is most likely due to the disc herniation touching/compressing the nerves that go to the area of your chest where you feel the pain. If the hernia gets bigger it can squeeze on that nerve further, and can cause permanent damage to this nerve, sometimes decompressing the nerve through surgery may help but not always, medications such as gabapentin, Cymbalta (duloxetine) may help.

Pain in legs & hips head aches and indigestion lack of energy all started since I quit drinking are these normal symtoms?

Temporarily: (obviously more information needed) how long ago did you quit drinking, and how much were you drinking? Overall stopping drinking is good for your health, but there are acute withdrawal symptoms, as your body adjusts. Think back how you felt any given morning after a drunk night. Not so good probably, symptoms would be relieved by alcohol's putting you back in semi-stupor. Break that cycle!
