Doctor can examine: If not constipation (collection of stool in left lower abdomen) that goes away with a bowel movement, then one's primary care doctor can check to see what the problem might be, such as stomach flu, food poisoning, bowel cramps or twisting, pancreatitis, pregnancy-related issues, etc... If the issue seems related to pregnancy, one's Ob-Gyn doctor can also examine.
